AAArghh!!

3 months??  Really?? Thats how long its been since my last post!!  Challenges of changing phones and them not talking to each other or the computer!  All pics are stored on the new phone and it won't let me access the blogger!  Grrr!!!  I'm having to save them to the cloud and then access the cloud and download them on here!!

Right, what you missed.... We went to Tunisia with Young Sir and his girlfriend.  Spent a week in their company!! Brilliant!  Took some tatting with me but didn't do that much.... too much time chatting instead!  What else.... as I said I gotta new phone, gone back to Nokia, too ouch on the wallet to get an iphone!  The phone is brill but the app for blogger don't work on it.  Flippin' nuisance!

Right, off to have a look at Google photos to see what I can add....

This is what I'm tatting.... it's a Jan Stawatz pattern.  Different  init... don't think it'll fit just yet tho!!

Tats all I can find!!  The rest aren't up on the cloud!!

Well...

You know when you end up with a tub with 'ends' in? Those ends that are too long to throw and not quite long enough for a tiny motif? What do you do with them?? I knot them together onto one of them easy bob thingies.

So a week or so ago I went browsing that Facebook app... and came across someone talking about a pattern by Karen Bovard! Had to play.... and here's the result!!

I've also gotta new phone... so that annoying 'purple thread' will disappear once I've finished setting it up.  Unfortunately it says that Blogger is out of date and I'll have to update it... but... in the meantime I can get to my pics via good ole Google!!

Had to write in and share a pic with you. The photo below is my last completed project of 2018! My favourite flavour... rainbow Taffy with Maple Butter and Maple Syrup!

Still working on that there monster Doily too... and wondering what to do for wearing on Burns Night... we've been invited up north to celebrate with Young Sir and his wonderful Scottish girlfriend! When we asked what she was like... the reply was Scottish!  (We went up for it.. and had a fantastic time!!  Can you tell I wrote this a while ago??)

I also decided that I needed earwigs for  Burns Night... they're below too,  the 3rd pic is all of us together, and the 4th?? Round 12 of that there doily finally complete!!
