Had to write in and share a pic with you. The photo below is my last completed project of 2018! My favourite flavour... rainbow Taffy with Maple Butter and Maple Syrup!
Still working on that there monster Doily too... and wondering what to do for wearing on Burns Night... we've been invited up north to celebrate with Young Sir and his wonderful Scottish girlfriend! When we asked what she was like... the reply was Scottish! (We went up for it.. and had a fantastic time!! Can you tell I wrote this a while ago??)
I also decided that I needed earwigs for Burns Night... they're below too, the 3rd pic is all of us together, and the 4th?? Round 12 of that there doily finally complete!!

Hope you all had a brilliant Silly Season and didn't eat or spend too much! All the best for 2019!

You’ll have to put a reminder on your phone to let you know it’s time to blog!!! Lovely family picture and the doily is looking fantastic too.
ReplyDeleteWas the haggis piped in? I have never been to a Burns night, sadly, but my father was very fond of his poetry so I more or less grew up with that poor little field mouse.
ReplyDeleteI like the colours in your swirly mat, I've just been trying to find the mistake on Jane's!
Every thing and every one looks great ❤🌹❤
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful and fabulous tatting projects!! :)
ReplyDeleteThe lavender variegated doily is absolutely gorgeous! That would take me forever to make, so I definitely appreciate your skill!
